So many people assume women only like red roses...

My answer: I love hibiscuses and lilies and if I had to choose roses I like white ones.

Monday Rush

I think we're all cracking, those of us who've been running on empty four last couple of weeks. I day this because today as we sat in a semicircle in my advance shakespeare class everyone was smiling. Yet when our professor asked why no one could offer a real reply, or answer with an ounce of academic logic. So I laughed because I wasn't alone, I'll be okay after next Monday.

Monday Rush - 90°

I can hardly keep my eyes open and its approaching 90° in southern California. I think this semester has finally broke me. I can't even tell you how i'm going to make it to graduation. I go to school, come home, do hw, sleep then the process repeats... S/N: these flowers remind of my childhood. Seems like everything was simple back then. ^_^

Its officially May and I'm no where near ready lol. I'm getting sick, I have endless research (I actually wrote needless then changed the word I guess that's how I really feel at this point) and papers to write as well as finals to take, not to mention the mad dash to snatch a cap and gown rental. I'm not sure how I'll get through the next couple of weeks

Updates - where have you been?

Okay so I've been neglecting my precious blog lately, because school is taking all of my time. I've been on edge in every class lately I'm doing well but its too close to graduation for me to start slipping. So I wanted to speak on a few things, after next weekend I will probably have some flexibility so I can share some more eye-candyland posts, nail polish! and get started on my hair progress and info, as well as flooding my blog with more poetry. I managed to write 4 new poems last weekend yay! the writing drought is over lol. Oh yeah the Budgetista personal fiance challenge ended about 2 weeks ago, me and my bestie decided to end it early, as soon as I have free time I will talk about all my purchases. But yeah so much is going on at the moment.

I'm preparing for graduation, ya girl graduating with two BA's next month, holla!.
I'm starting to explore make up like a big girl lol
I've gained a new essence, a positive outlook that I've been lacking lately
I am trying to overcome my fear of public speaking => this will be so hard I get anxiety just thinking about it!
I have been offered a freelance writing job for a new Online-Magazine more on this later.
I want to start drawing again, I used to love sketching.
I want to explore my city this summer :)

i have not returned to the apartment.
i sleep in my old bedroom

Happy Earth Day!

I just wanted to leave a brief message:

Today beware of your surroundings, we only have one Earth so try to embrace her the best way you can. It's sad that there needs to be an official "Earth Day" when it is a constant part of our lives. So if your not planet conscious as much as you should be take the time out today to look at your neighborhood see in what ways you can improve your environment one block at time. It doesn't have to be something major it could be as simple as teaching a child about not littering, small hands can make big changes too and make a life time of difference.

Midweek random question

By now you have realized I am one of the most random carefree writers when it comes to blogging lol. I'm a spontaneous blogger.

So this shouldn't come as a surprise ^_^

You know what? sometimes we all need a break from hectic work schedules, or school, just something fun and random to think about for a few minutes. Something that will make us smile, laugh or ask our friends.
